Who is responsible
Nyttoverkstaden AB is responsible for personal data processed by Coach Kento. For privacy questions, requests or withdrawal of consent, contact support@coachkento.com.
What Kento collects
Kento stores your account identifiers, email when you use email sign-in, preferences, onboarding answers, conversations, photos you send, coaching notes, plans, routines and activity you log. If you connect Apple Health, Kento imports the health and fitness categories you permit, which may include activity, workouts, sleep, heart and body measurements, nutrition, mindful minutes, daylight, mood and symptoms. Cycle sharing is a separate optional choice. Subscription status, device notification tokens and operational records are also processed.
Why we use it
We use account and subscription information to provide your account, verify access and respond to your requests. Coaching data supports personalized conversations, plans and scheduled coaching. We rely on your explicit consent for AI processing of health and other sensitive information and your separate choices for Apple Health and cycle sharing. Necessary account and service processing supports our contract with you. Security and reliability records support our legitimate interest in operating a secure service, subject to your rights. We may retain records where legally required.
AI providers and health information
With your permission, relevant conversations, photos, saved coaching notes and health and fitness information are sent through OpenRouter to OpenAI to generate coaching and carry out scheduled coaching. The app asks for this permission before AI coaching starts. Kento requests OpenRouter endpoints that disallow data collection; this is not a promise of zero retention. Providers may process data for service delivery and abuse prevention under their terms. Health sharing is optional. Coaching requires AI processing and is not medical care.
Other service providers
Our hosting providers process stored app data. Cloudflare provides network infrastructure and, where email sign-in is enabled, sign-in email delivery. Apple or Google verifies the sign-in method you choose. RevenueCat and Apple process subscription and purchase information. Apple delivers push notifications; notification text may appear on your lock screen according to your device settings. We do not sell your personal or health information or use it for targeted advertising.
International processing
Our providers may process information outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Applicable data-protection requirements govern these transfers. Contact support@coachkento.com for information about the providers and transfer safeguards that apply to your account.
Your choices
Apple Health sharing is linked to the Kento account you connect on this phone. Skipping does not authorize sharing with that account. You can stop new Health reads in the Apple Health app and manage cycle sharing in Kento. Stopping Health access does not erase information already shared. To withdraw AI or sensitive-data processing consent, contact support@coachkento.com. Withdrawal does not change the lawfulness of processing that already occurred. Export and account deletion are available in Settings.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and coaching information while needed to provide your account and respond to your requests. Account deletion removes the live account and its associated app data and requests deletion of its RevenueCat customer record. Existing backup copies and provider records may remain until their retention periods end, or where required for security or legal obligations. Contact us for the applicable retention details. Deleting the account does not cancel an App Store subscription; manage it with Apple.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent and complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or your local supervisory authority. Contact support@coachkento.com so we can verify your request and help.
Changes
We update this policy when processing changes. Material changes to AI sharing require a new in-app permission before affected coaching begins.
